We had a house guest from June of this year until the second week of October. This is Chica a 21 year old Macaw. She was the talk of Twin Bridges for quite a while. Now she's back with her original owner. Farewell, Chica! Our Birthday 2006  Having the same birthday is pretty cool in many ways. We always do something special on 24 June of every year. In 2006 we spent the day in Virginia City, Montana. just seeing the sights, eating lunch, riding the train between VC and Nevada City, taking in a show, and having a very good day. We sat for this picture in one of the two photo parlors on Main Street of Virginia City. |
Our Anniversary picture of 2011  In 2011 we returned to Virginia City, Montana and had our picture taken again in one of the Main Street photographic parlors. Seems the years show between the two pictures. We always have a good time when we go out and do stuff like this! It was a fun day! |
Practice Intruder!  From time to time I erect a pretend intruder that is about the size and shape of a real person (of sorts). Suzi and I kick its a_s until it falls apart - then later erect another one in a different part of the house. It's our way of staying in a state of some kind of preparedness. This poor devil is now in pieces all over the property! Poor thing. |
